Use this to create a community breakfast program.

This What’s Working Replication Guide gives details about the Breakfast Shoppe, a community breakfast that takes place Monday through Friday 7-9 a.m. at the Rochester Senior Center. It is run jointly by the FRIENDS of the Rochester Senior Center and Rochester Lions Club. It operates solely with volunteers who do the purchasing, cooking, serving and clean-up.

This program is one of 13 honored by The Aging Network’s Volunteer Collaborative for providing, in response to the 2012 Call for What’s Working, exceptional tips on how to build a strong volunteer program.
