Use this to create a community bank for volunteer hours.

This What’s Working Replication Guide shows how you can implement an Equal Exchange TimeBank, modeled after TimeBank USA. It allows members to post a need they seek to fill or search member posts to find qualified volunteers. Volunteers bank their hours served, earning “time dollars” towards a need they may have or to pass on to someone in need; everyone wins!

This program is one of 13 honored by The Aging Network’s Volunteer Collaborative for providing, in response to the 2012 Call for What’s Working, exceptional tips on how to build a strong volunteer program.
