Use this to write letters to the editor that recruit volunteers.

This What’s Working Replication Guide shows how you use newspaper “Letters to the Editor” opportunities to inform high functioning, civically engaged seniors about the Senior Medicare Patrol program and to recruit them for our volunteer corps. The effort doubled the number of volunteers.

This program is one of 13 honored by The Aging Network’s Volunteer Collaborative for providing, in response to the 2012 Call for What’s Working, exceptional tips on how to build a strong volunteer program.
