Representatives from 12 organizations attended a pilot PowerUP! training in Washington, DC, on May 15, during Older Americans Month. A second group of volunteer/agency staff pairs took training at the n4a conference in Louisville, KY, on July 28.

They learned to form self-directed teams of volunteers to build agencies’ capacity to serve. More training opportunities will be available in the coming months.
